Hi! My name is Manoliu Răzvan - Constantin, I'm a student in 12th grade E, my
specialization is philology and I want to share with you my experience of moving from one
high school to another, in the same town.
In 12th grade I decided to leave “A.T.Laurian” National College Botoșani for
“Gheorghe Asachi” Technical College Botoșani because I realised in the last moment that the
specialization I was attending was not suitable for me. I decided to make this change because
I want to be a student at the Police Academy.
This is one of the most beautiful experiences of my life, and I want to say that the
image of “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical College is not the right one through the eyes of the
students from Botoșani, me being one of them (of course, in the past). People misjudge this
high school, which is one of the top if you ask me. The classmates and the teachers were
extremely understanding and welcoming when I came here, and I was surprised from the
beginning to find here professionalism at the highest level.
I believe I managed to adjust very quickly and I was pleasantly surprised from all
points of view. This high school has all the facillities and it is for sure an elite high school. I
can assure everyone who is reading this, that the differences exist only in the eyes of students
and their maybe demanding parents, judging something they know nothing about.
In conclusion, it was a good moment and a good choice in my life and I don’t regret
this transfer at all because I’ve had only benefits both in my education and in my personal
development since I came here. Also, I encourage anyone, honestly, to choose this high
school.
